kliQ Terms and Conditions
1. General Terms
1.1 Purpose: kliQ is a subscription-based shared mobility platform providing flexible car access
to subscribers and an opportunity for car owners to list and monetize their vehicles.
1.2 MVP Status: kliQ is in its MVP stage, and features are subject to testing and refinement
based on user feedback.
1.3 Eligibility:
Subscribers: Must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and provide
required identification.
Providers (Car Listers): Must own or have legal authorization to list the vehicle and
meet kliQ’s quality and maintenance standards.
2. Terms for Subscribers
2.1 Subscription Plans:
Subscribers can choose from 1-month, 3-month, or 6-month plans with tiered access (4,
10, or 20 days/month).
Unused days do not roll over to the next month during the MVP phase.
2.2 Insurance Coverage:
All cars include platform insurance covering liability and collision during the subscription
period.
Subscribers are responsible for the deductible in case of an accident, as outlined in
kliQ’s insurance policy.
2.3 Booking and Vehicle Access:
Subscribers must use the kliQ app to book vehicles within their subscription limits.
Vehicles must be picked up and dropped off at designated locations and times. Late
returns may incur additional fees.
2.4 Usage Restrictions:
Cars are for personal use only; commercial use, ride-sharing, or subletting is prohibited.
Subscribers must adhere to mileage limits, if any, and follow all local traffic laws.
2.5 Cancellations and Refunds:
Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, but refunds for unused days are not
available during the MVP stage.
2.6 Damages and Liability:
Subscribers are responsible for any damages caused by negligence or policy violations.
kliQ reserves the right to charge additional fees for cleaning or repair costs due to
misuse.
3. Terms for Providers (Car Listers)
3.1 Vehicle Eligibility:
Cars must be less than 12 years old, have fewer than 100,000 miles, and meet kliQ’s
safety and maintenance standards.
Providers must provide proof of ownership or authorization to list the car on kliQ.
3.2 Insurance and Protection:
Cars are covered by kliQ’s platform insurance during subscriber use. Personal use
outside bookings is not covered.
Providers must maintain their own insurance policy for non-kliQ-related use.
3.3 Availability and Scheduling:
Providers can set their car’s availability through the kliQ app. They must honor confirmed
bookings.
Changes to availability must be updated promptly to avoid subscriber inconvenience.
3.4 Earnings and Payments:
Providers earn a percentage of the subscription fees based on car usage during
bookings.
Payments are processed monthly and deposited into the provider’s registered bank
account.
3.5 Vehicle Condition and Maintenance:
Providers must ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and in working order.
kliQ reserves the right to suspend listings that fail to meet quality standards.
3.6 Liability and Damages:
kliQ’s insurance covers damages caused during subscriber use. However, providers
must report pre-existing conditions before each booking.
Providers may be liable for issues arising from mechanical failures or undisclosed
defects.
4. User Responsibilities
4.1 Account Integrity:
Users must provide accurate information during registration and maintain updated
records.
Sharing accounts or misrepresentation will result in account suspension or termination.
4.2 Feedback and Improvements:
Users are encouraged to provide feedback to help improve kliQ during its MVP stage.
5. Limitations of Liability
5.1 Platform Changes:
kliQ may adjust features, pricing, or terms as part of the MVP testing phase. Users will
be notified of significant changes.
5.2 Service Interruptions:
kliQ is not liable for disruptions caused by factors beyond its control, including weather,
legal restrictions, or mechanical failures.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
6.1 Data Collection:
kliQ collects user data to provide and improve its services. Personal information will not
be shared without consent, except as required by law.
6.2 Usage Monitoring:
kliQ may monitor app usage and vehicle data to optimize the platform and ensure
compliance.
7. Termination of Service
7.1 Subscriber Termination:
kliQ reserves the right to terminate a subscription for violations of terms or misuse of
services.
7.2 Provider Termination:
Providers may be delisted for failing to meet quality or availability standards.
8. Contact and Support
Subscribers and providers can reach kliQ’s support team 24/7 through the kliQ app or
email. Feedback and inquiries are encouraged during the MVP phase to refine the
platform.
Acknowledgment
By using kliQ, subscribers and providers agree to these terms and conditions. As kliQ evolves
beyond the MVP stage, terms may be updated to reflect improvements and new features.
